Ive 2 lamps - lit and unlit object - Objects 3 and 4 respectively

Previously both were STATIC objects in room 6

Now ive edited them to they can be carried as a lamp

all the text is entered in ob 3 - I uncheck STATIC and click accept - The accept message appears BUT the static re-checks itself - I tried this with ob 4 as well and this does the same - Is this an issue with the database not allowing an update -
any ideas apart from just leaving these and recreating the lamps how I get around it as I dont want to have to re-do all the locations etc

Hi Gareth,

I can confirm this event. It looks like a bug. Sorry about that. Embarassed

Please bear with me whilst I look into it and get round to finding out why it is occurring...
I'll get back to you soon.

Hi Gareth,

I've done a quick temp fix and uploaded a new Alpha Release just now.

You should be able to unset the static objects now (hopefully!)

Anyway, please let me know if this works now.

Use the checkbox to unset/set the object static attribute.

Yep its sorted it. Check is cleared - Ive tried both accepting checked and unchecked and it works in both statuses

Hi Gareth,

No apologies necessary. It's great to me that you found the bug - it was previously working normally. It seems that was not tested properly when I made the recent changeover to different thinbasic window callback techniques a couple of months ago...

Since it is now OK I will lock this thread now.
